Lurganboy Black

This is an ancient rock, originally a lava flow or similar rock which has been subjected to extreme temperature and pressure during the formation of the Ox Mountains. The stone is collected from boulders transported and dropped by ancient glaciers in the Lurganboy area near Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim.This heat hardened stone is excellent for Jewellery making.The stones are hand cut and polished to reveal their natural beauty. Lurganboy Black Stone gives a very classic look to the Celtic and more Contemporary designs used by Angela in her unique handmade jewellery.Each piece comes in a black presentation box with an information booklet.
